The Labor
law is a federal legislation applicable to all emirates of the UAE, enforced by
the Ministry of Labor and Social Affair, with litigations adjudicated by the
Federal and Local Courts of the UAE.
The Labor
Law in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is applicable to all staff and employees
working in the UAE, irrespective of whether they are UAE nationals or
expatriates. However, few categories as mentioned below have been exempted from
its applicability.
